Through the Walls Client: Hervé Léger Website: HerveLeger.com Date: July 31, 2016 Services: Visual Display Hervé Léger Summer 2016 WINDOWS — The Herve Leger Summer 2016 Collection was a play up on the historical heritage of 30 years as a brand while adding in a bit more flare to the mix. Moving away from the typical bandage styles, to a more flowy and delicate pattern, the dresses still honored the form-fitting bandage dress that Herve Leger flourishes on. The inspiration, despite what many may say was Miley Cyrus’s hit song “Wrecking Ball”, is rather in fact inspired by a far more grungier source — car junkyards. A patina-styled mirror looks as if it was shattered and left with a huge hole. SHOT OF THE EXTERIOR STOREFRONT DETAILS OF WINDOW MOCKUP SAMPLE OF SUMMER LINE IN THIS PROJECT Illustrator Illustrator was used to design the patina styled mirror as well as layout the schematics of the wrecking ball hole. InDesign InDesign was used to mock up many of the stores windows as each was custom-fit for Herve Leger. Printer Communication with printer company to ensure that the mirror would look realistic enough to look vintage and shattered, as well as making the hole so that it would fit dimensions of the store was highly necessary.
