BCBG MAX AZRIA SPRING 2016 WINDOWS

“Surf, skate, music—the ways California changed the world, but now with a new proposal.”

The Spring 2016 Season was based off of sunny California itself. Bright poppy colors, floral, and seventies all made a come back in this season’s fashion line. To accompany the clothes, floral backdrops were incorporated into BCBG’s distinct background triangle column system to accent the theme and clothes.

The triangle column system allowed for 3 different images to be revolved for each month of the spring season. Each face of the triangle created one image which could be revolved to the next face to create the second image and so forth. This allowed not only for a unique appearance, but created an efficient and cost-effective way of keeping BCBG’s storefronts looking fresh and elegant.

The column system was also accompanied by a full window cling with intentional cutout circles. The cling itself was inspired by cathedral architecture with it’s intricate patterns and volume. The cutouts were aligned specifically to focus the consumers eyes onto the displayed mannequins and accessories.
